Brookes Merritt brings over 25 years of experience in journalism, communications, public relations, reputation management, and government relations. He has held senior roles in the Government of Alberta’s Executive Council, the Public Affairs Bureau, and the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, serving former provincial Premiers, Cabinet ministers, and Opposition caucus leaders. Brookes is currently pursuing a Master of Liberal Arts in Sustainability from Harvard University.
As a consultant, Brookes has worked with Canada’s largest corporations, innovative start-ups, and various industry associations, municipalities, and not-for-profit organizations. He is also an active volunteer, serving as a director with the Edmonton Griesbach community league and contributing to organizations like the Canadian Mental Health Association and Home Ed.
