Technical Liaison Committees

The SMACNA-AB has two Technical Liaison Committees (“TLC”) in Calgary and Edmonton.

The TLC’s are comprised of volunteer members of the Sheet Metal Contractors Association of Alberta. The committees include suppliers, contractors (residential and commercial) and representatives from both the Cities of Edmonton and Calgary.   The committees are there on behalf of members to voice industry concerns and work directly with the municipalities to ensure our members are aware of changes and voice their concerns and receive clarification on those concerns.

The discussions are broad and based on the section of the industry to which they are sourced.  The TLC intends to create dialogue and resolution with consistency and transparency for the industry on current matters.
